																	The current siding is a wood lathe siding that is at the end of its life. 
																	At sheathing exterior product index we describe products used on building exterior walls roofs as a structural sheathing or as a nail base sheathing. 
																	Also i was thinking of house wrapping this before siding just to seal it up a little better.

																	My house has the black celotex fiber board under the aluminum siding on the first story and plywood on the second. 
																	Asbestos is a heat resistant mineral that was added to many celotex products to make them fireproof. 
																	I will hit the studs.

																	Since i am doing this predominantly myself i of course have to be cognizant of the weather while things are exposed. 
																	The company grew throughout the 20th century and expanded its product line to include a variety of construction materials such as roofing shingles and siding. 
																	Thousands of houses in my area built like that when i started in 1970 we used i sheet of ply in the corners and the rest was celotex now they are using 1 sheet of 1 2 osb in the corners and 1 2 foam board on the rest vinyl siding on that i don t know why we bothere with locks as anyone could go right thru any wall in 10 minutes with a hammer. 
																	Before i answer this question let me give you a little background on vinyl siding installation in our area. 
															
													
									
	
		
	
																	I m going to be removing all of it and putting up new zip system sheathing and then new vinyl siding. 
																	The problem is i don t have the budget for vinyl siding and sheeting.
