Fit the new door sill in place under the door frame.

Caulk around the outside of the door sill. Lay a bead of caulk along what will be the back edge of the threshold. Cut the new door sill to size and bevel the outer edge. Drive a new 3 16 by 1 inch concrete anchor into each of the holes with a hammer.

When the saddle is in place restore the door jamb adding calk so that it fits nicely. Paint or stain the new door sill.
